Scott Farrell, MD has spent a lifetime seeing healthcare from nearly every angle. For more than 33 years, he practiced as an obstetrician gynecologist, caring for patients while also serving in hospital leadership, medical affairs, quality, risk management, and accreditation.
But his perspective changed in a deeply personal way when he experienced healthcare not as the physician, but as the patient. That journey became the inspiration behind On Surgery, where he shares the lessons, humor, vulnerability, and insight that come from understanding medicine on both sides of the relationship.
